Airpura V614 is also free of plastic, rubber, silicone, or adhesives. The absence of these materials helps to reduce any degassing of chemical vapors, both in the clean air stream and in the end-of-life process of the plant. As an air purifier for pollutants, the Airpura V614 capacitors are free of polychlorinated biphenyls or PCBs that are toxic to humans, animals, and the environment.

Filters of Airpura V614
One of the two most critical factors in deciding the efficiency of a single air purifier – its air filters. Essentially, we're going to test the number of air filters and what kind of air filters it used first. Airpura V614 uses the company's signature 3-stage air cleaning system.
Pre-filter: To secure the main filter, Airpura V614 uses a poly pre-filter that can catch large particles such as pet hair, human hair, and fine dust. This can be washed and updated after 6 months or 1 year.
Activated Carbon Filter: Airpura V614 uses a powerful Activated Carbon Filter with a weight of 18 lbs.
Super/ULPA HEPA Filter: You can choose between a Super HEPA filter capable of handling 99.99 percent of all airborne particles ≥ 0.3 microns or a ULPA HEPA filter that eradicates 99.9999% of all airborne particles ≥ 0.1 microns, with 10 to 15% reduced airflow.

Like Airpura R600 and Airpura G600, Airpura V614 uses an 18-lb Activated Carbon Filter, which is highly efficient in the handling of pollutants, smoke, odors, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). With 17 percent potassium iodide, the carbon filter will accelerate the binding of chemicals and VOCs more quickly.
You'll have a next stage upgrade for this carbon filter, consisting of 17 percent potassium permanganate instead, and then your Airpura V614 will become an Airpura F600.

Sound Production of Airpura V614
The Airpura V614 has the same fan power as the others in the Airpura family, and this is one of the quietest fans of power.
From the calculation, our test unit is only 28 decibels at the lowest setting, and this is exactly the noise level of the whisper. There's no way you can hear such a low noise level tone.
Nevertheless, if you run the Airpura V614 at the highest setting, the noise level is 62 decibels, which is 8 times higher than the lowest noise level.
Please note that since it's mechanical, it might be variable. If you mostly run the air purifier at the highest speed, make sure you're not disturbed by the noise.
